Welcome back to the lab! It was a short week due to testing,
but fantastic student collaboration and problem solving in Code.org, the
building centers, OSMO Newton, Math, and Tangrams, and design made for a
wonderful start to 2019!
Ms. Leal’s Monarch Heroes reused cardboard boxes and their
milk cartons to start seeds for the spring planting. They also had two students
complete the Code.org Course B! Congratulations to Mikela and Keyla!
The Earth Day design contests were introduced in Kinder and
2nd grade, and 5th grade started work on their Makey
Makey 50 states project. We also had a Free Build Day! I have finished the G/T
testing for the 2018-19 school year, so my lab is officially back open for
STEAM!
