What a fantastic week! Houston Ballet Dance to Learn in 3rd
grade, Da Camera Music Encounters in 4th grade, and HMNS Bugs on
Wheels for 4th!
In the STEAM Lab it was another week of successful problem
solving and collaboration with Osmo, Code.org and Scratch. 1st grade Monarch
Heroes also got in some seed starting for spring, K-2 Name That Book club started
their read-aloud visits to classes and filming each other’s book reviews, and 3rd-5th
finished painting the new trash cans for the campus.
That’s not too bad for a 3-day week (The district was closed
Monday to celebrate the remarkable life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. and I was out Wednesday to conduct trainings). I am really looking
forward to what students will accomplish next week in 4 days! I will be out one
day to take our campus Spelling Bee champion and alternate to the district Bee –
