Welcome to a new and new kind of school year, Panthers. I miss working with you in the lab, but have created a new set of activities to help you continue to program, make, and protect the planet!
Neighborhood Naturalist
1) Find That Lizard a game created by herpetologist Earyn McGhee. I will post her picture a fun facts; you examine the photo carefully - enlarge it if you need to - and circle the camouflaged lizard!
2) Big Bend Challenge - a game to learn fun facts about Texas plants and animals!
3) Garden Spotlight - watch the video to learn about what lives in the Piney Point habitats. Each grade level has a nature focus and is encouraged to submit their photos of their grade plant or animal through a Class Dojo message.
Maker Challenge -
You all did an AMAZING job with these last year. I was so impressed with your creativity and skills! Each week there will be a new challenge for you to make with you family. Turn in pictures and videos of what you make to me through a Class Dojo message.

Try to complete one level a week in code.org or try to create a Scratch or Scratch Jr project.
